Senior Lead QA Engineer — Mattapoisett, MA
As a key member of our testing group, the Senior Lead QA Engineer will oversee members of the QA team responsible for testing offshore-developed code from our development partners.
Duties will also include the design, development, execution and maintenance of test plans and test cases using both manual and automated testing strategies that are used to perform build verification tests, regression tests, and end-to-end smoke tests, as well as those that track and analyze test results.
Requirements include:- Prior testing experience and test strategy development for an Internet/web based application, ideally from both a manual and automated perspective
- 7+ years experience in a Software related position
- Strong capacity for logical thinking, with the ability to understand complex applications—must be a creative problem solver
- Excellent writing, communication and organization skills
- Bachelor's degree (major in CIS, MIS, Operations Management, Computer Science or Engineering preferred). The ideal candidate will be strong in both business and technology.
- Team lead / management experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies with strong SQL and Internet testing capabilities (both manual and automated).
- Programming skills in VB, .ASP, VBScript and JavaScript a plus, but not required
