Quality Assurance Engineer — Mattapoisett, MA
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will design, develop and execute test strategies to support rapid product development in an Agile environment. As part of our Capabilities Development QA team, you will work on product and site initiatives from business requirements through implementation, developing test plans and test designs, including test execution and test verification via both manual and automated processes. Prior experience using software to automate test procedures is strongly desired.
Requirements include:- Prior testing experience using web/internet based applications
- Demonstrable working knowledge of SQL is essential
- Programming skills in VB.NET or C#, ASP, VBScript, and JavaScript and/or experience with automated performance testing a plus
- The ability to consistently deliver top-level project results in a technology team environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies
- Strong database, OO programming, and Internet testing capabilities, extending to C#, VB.net, JavaScript, and SQL
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or an equivalent
